Former Ogun state governor, Gbenga Daniel, says he has no personal issues with Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Dapo Abiodun.
Politics Nigeria recalls that Amosun took over from Daniel in 2011 while Abiodun is the current governor of Ogun state.
Speaking on AriseTV on Thursday, Daniel revealled that despite being his friend, Amosun dragged him before the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged misappropriation of state funds during his tenure.
“Amosun has long been my friend. He was one of the people who actually harassed me when I was out of government. Amosun took me to EFCC, but God delivered me,” Daniel said.
“But, at a stage in your life, you sit down and begin to ask: what is it all about? I then came to the conclusion that there is no need for these wars. I’ve resolved issues with everybody [including Abiodun]. There are no personal issues,” he announced.
Daniel is the senator representing Ogun-East at the National Assembly.
