Former Minister of Transportation Ibrahim Bio has said that it is “apparent” that former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike is on his way out of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Bio made the comment during an interview on Arise Television on Thursday while reacting to Wike’s nomination as a minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Nyesom Wike is the only PDP card-carrying member on the ministerial list,” Bio said. “I don’t know how he will marry that with being a leader of the PDP in Rivers State.”
Bio added that it is “apparent” that Wike is “on his way out of PDP.”
Recall that in a ministerial list read out by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Thursday in plenary, Wike’s name was prominent among the other 27 nominees.
