Golden Dawn: “You all will regret it” – Simon Ekpa threatens South-East Govs

Simon Ekpa, a self-styled disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says the Nigerian army’s newest operation in the Southeast region will be regretted by Southeast leaders.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that the military on Monday began an operation in the South-East as part of efforts to address rising insecurity in the region.

The Army indicated this at a press conference in Awka, the Anambra State capital as soldiers and policemen paraded the streets of Owerri, the Imo State capital, in a show of force.

The 302 Artillery Regiment General Support launched ‘Exercise Golden Dawn’.

The exercise, according to the Commander 302 Artillery Regiment (General Support) Col Abdulkarim Usman, will help to combat insecurity in the state and foster inter agency cooperation.

But Ekpa thinks otherwise.

“The SouthEast Leaders will live to regret ever allowing Military invasion of our land for the 5th time. Python dance 1&2, did it stop Biafra agitation? Uzodinma air bombardment in Imo, did it stop Biafra agitation? You can’t win this war by gun and bullet,” the Biafra agitator wrote on his known Twitter handle on Tuesday.

  2. It is you and your likes that will regret the coming of security forces who are there to bring back sanity to the beleaguered Igbo’s. Let me assure the rabble rouser Ekpa, that one day he will be caged like Nnamdi KANU.Then he will regret being born to a family that did not teach him the rudiments of life. Until then, ride on renegade.
