A Nigerian man, Tembu Ebere, who attempted to embark on a cry-a-thon for 100 hours to set the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest crying time, has gone blind.
Confirming his unfortunate health status, Ebere disclosed that he began to experience serious headaches, puffy eyes and a swollen face from the constant crying before going temporarily blind.
While speaking of his determination to cry for one week nonstop, Ebere noted that he had to stop the idea and re-strategise to reduce his crying and wailing time.
Politics Nigeria understands that Ebere had declared his intention to embark on seven days of non-stop cry-a-thon to get the Guinness World Record (GWR) recognition.
Meanwhile, another Nigerian lady, Joyce Ijeoma, had collapsed during a 72-hour longest-body massage attempt in Lekki, Lagos state.
