Reno Omokri, the former Special Assistant on Social Media to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday accused Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State of double-standard.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Omokri, who applauded the Governor for condemning the cruel murder of an Hausa woman, Harira Jubril, her unborn child and four young children, questioned him on why it took him days to react.
He said Soludo swiftly reacted to the beheading of Okechukwu Okoye, a lawmaker in Anambra State, and even offered a N10 million bounty on his killers, adding that the Governor should have followed same pattern in Harira’s case.
“I commend Soludo for condemning the murder of pregnant Harira and her 4 kids. But why did it take him 4 days? It took Soludo hours to condemn Okoye’s murder. He also offered a ₦10 million reward to anyone who can identify Okoye’s killers. Why this double standard?” Omokri wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
The wicked murder of Harira and her children by suspected militants of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has drawn furious reactions from the Nigerian public, especially Northerners.
