’He was a saboteur’ – Simon Ekpa mocks George Obiozor after death

The self-acclaimed factional leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Simon Njoku Ekpa, on Thursday mocked the late President-General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, George Obiozor.

POLITICS NIGERIA had reported Obiozor’s demise following a heart-related problem. He was 80.

Reacting to his death via his known Twitter handle, Ekpa condemned the late elder statesman for “sabotaging” the Biafra agitation with “fake presidency”. He described late Obiozor as “one of the worst thing that happened to Ndigbo”.

“NJOKU!!! He was calling for the head of NJOKU few days ago just because NJOKU is fighting for the freedom of his people while he is sabotaging it with fake presidency. While he was the president of Ohaneze, Igbo youth were slaughtered in thousands.

“Obiozor will be remembered as one of the worst thing that happened to Ndigbo before Biafra exited Nigeria. Today where is him? This must serve a lesson to the remaining ones who are planning against Biafra next year,” Ekpa wrote.
