The hometown of the late Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings PLC, Herbert Wigwe, located in the Ikwerrre Local Government Area of Rivers State, has declared seven days of mourning to honour their illustrious son.
The mourning period follows Wigwe’s tragic death in a helicopter crash in California, United States, along with his wife, son, and others.
The Nye-Nwe-Eli of Isiokpo, Eze Blessing Ahiazunwo Wagor, announced the mourning period, which involves the closure of all businesses on the first and last days, with half-day operations on the other days.
The community’s residents have donned black clothes to reflect the somber mood.
