Guinness world record holder, Chef Hilda Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has revealed that she auditioned for the Big Brother Naija reality show five times before staging her cook-a-thon earlier this year.
Baci disclosed that her plan was to embark on the cooking challenge after she must have participated and become known in BBNaija, but she wasn’t selected to be on the show.
The Guinness World Record holder made the disclosure while appearing on a Cool FM programme hosted by Big Brother Naija reality star, Tacha.
She said: “I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times.
“The plan for the cook-a-thon was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thon.”
