History will definitely judge President Bola Tinubu favourably for the sacrifices he has made for Nigeria and her citizens, the Minister of information and national orientation, Mohammed Idris has said.
Idris said this while speaking at the ongoing Ministerial Press Briefing Session taking place in Abuja on Thursday, March 13.
Stating that every country thrives when its leaders govern with a sense of divine responsibility, Idris said the reforms championed by President Tinubu are not just well-intentioned but are essential for the growth and development of the nation.
The minister’s remarks in favour of the president was shared in a statement issued by Rabiu Ibrahim, the Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation.
Idris also noted that Tinubu since assuming office on May 29, 2023, has been committed to initiatives and policies that would deliver long term progress and benefits to the people.
“Our country stands at a critical juncture as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu implements bold and transformative reforms to lay the foundation for a new Nigeria.
“Across the world, history has shown that meaningful reforms are never easy; they demand sacrifice, resilience, and a commitment to long-term progress. The initial pains that often accompany these changes are the necessary price for a more stable and prosperous future.
“I want to sincerely appreciate Nigerians for their patience, perseverance, and unwavering belief in the President’s vision,” he said.
