Hours after his release, Speed Darlington thanks lawyer, speaks on N300m suit against police [Video]

Internet sensation and music artist Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington has released an appreciation message to one of his lawyers, David Ihuoma for his efforts in the securing a release from custody for him.

Okoye’s appreciation to the lawyer was made in a post shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, January 23.

Sharing a photo of his lawyer, Okoye in an audio said Ihuoma had played a huge role in the defamation suit slammed against him by Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy.

He said, “This is Mazi David Ihuoma, one of my lawyers. He played a big role on my case and has continued to play a big role. Yes!

“Mazi David Ihuoma; very forceful, very forceful; confidence is 10/10/10. Even the Police attest to his confidence and his forceful ways,” Okoye said.

The influencer continued by alleging that the Nigeria Police Force is a corrupt institution.

He said, “Always reminding them at every office and every level that the police is corrupt and they know it. They supposed to let me go and they still [holding] me against the court order.

“Always reminding them of their corrupt ways and they attest to his confidence.

In a caption to the audio shared by Speed Darlington, the singer wrote: Thank you, Mazi David Ihuoma. We going all the way! They (Police) must pay me for violating my human rights, N300 million.

“We will drag them more that Stanley and I dragged that bank that violated me two years ago,” he said.
