Hours After Returning from Switzerland, VP Shettima Jets Out of Abuja [VIDEO]

Nigeria’s vice president, Kashim Shettima on Saturday, January 25, departed Abuja, the nation’s capital city for Kebbi and Borno States.

Shettima departure to the two states comes barely 24 hours after his return from the World Economic Forum (WEF) which took place in Davos, Switzerland.

A video post by his senior special assistant on media and communication, Stanley Nkwocha said Shettima will be in Kebbi and Borno States for some engagements.

According to Nkwocha, the vice president travelled to the two states in the company of some ministers and top dignitaries including, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State; the chief of staff to the president, Femi Gbajabiamila; the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari and the National Chairman-North for the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bukar Dalori.

Nkwocha, however, did not state when the vice president is due to return to Abuja from the trip.
