The House of Representatives member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Aguye, has appointed 41 legislative aides and technical advisers.
The federal lawmaker said the aides and advisers will play instrumental roles in aiding him to deliver on his electioneering commitments.
While presenting the appointment letters to the appointees on Tuesday, Aguye extended his gratitude to those he said contributed to his successful election campaign and assured the public of more empowerment programmes.
According to him, the diverse groups of appointees came from various spheres, encompassing politics, community service, academia, and the private sector.
He stressed that many of the individuals have previously collaborated with him by contributing their skills and expertise in different capacities.
He further stated that the technical advisers stand out as unique people who have brought specialized knowledge and proficiency to the programmes of the lawmaker.
He said the experts would offer invaluable guidance within their respective fields, assisting with matters specific to their areas of expertise.
Aguye added that their appointments are effective immediately and would remain in place until the conclusion of his tenure unless otherwise decided.
