Nigerian female singing sensation, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has bragged about her relationship history and declared that she has never suffered a heartbreak.
The mother of one who is married to fellow singer, Adekunle Gold, disclosed this in a recent interview with Big Brother Naija star, Tacha, on Cool FM.
Simi said her latest heartbreak song, ‘Stranger’ wasn’t inspired by her personal experience, maintaining that she is an ambassador for those who are heartbroken.
“I don’t think I have ever been heartbroken. I don’t know, that song [‘Stranger’] came to me very easily. I guess, maybe I’m just a champion for people that have taken breakfasts [heartbroken] severally [laughs],” Simi said.
The songwriter said she made the song for people who have suffered heartbreaks at some point in their lives.
The singer noted that despite linking to love, she has not experienced heartbreak as she was sending comforting words to people currently recovering from that sort of hurt.
