Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of a Sovereign State of Biafra, Ralph Uwazuruike has condemned the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike for demolishing two hotels in the state for violating the lockdown directive put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Uwazuruike, in a video on Sunday, described Wike as ‘Useless’ adding that he would “send men to destroy his properties in Rivers”.
A visibly angry Uwazuruike asked Rivers people to rise up against Wike, adding that he has crossed every borderline. Calling Wike many unprintable names, Uwazuruike asked: “Is Wike the only Governor in Nigeria”? Uwazuruike also recalled the confiscation and auctioning of trucks and cows by Wike.
Uwazuruike disclosed that it was only in Rivers State can “such nonsense” could be condoned, calling out the people to civil disobedience so as to trigger a declaration of a state of emergency in the state.
Uwazuruike has joined a long list of human rights organizations and lawyers in total condemnation of Wike’s move to demolish the hotels.
