The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the immediate deployment of seven Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) to key strategic offices across the country.
Additionally, eighteen Commissioners of Police (CPs) due for promotion to AIG ranks have been posted to AIG-designated offices, pending approval from the Police Service Commission (PSC).
A statement signed by Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that the comprehensive redeployment aims to reposition the force for more effective policing nationwide.
