The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alkali Baba, should “immediately” invite the Senator representing Kaduna Central and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, Uba Sani, for questioning because he is a “person of interest” in the disruption of the opposition party’s rally in Kaduna on Monday.
A person of interest is someone who is believed to be possibly involved in a crime but has not been charged or arrested.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Debo Ologunagba, the national publicity secretary of the PDP made this demand at a press conference on Friday.
“There were allegations of individuals, the governorship candidate of APC in Kaduna, Senator Uba Sani, that he orchestrated, planned, and executed it and there have been no denials.
“That should point to the fact that this individual is a person of interest. And that’s why we’re calling on the IG to invite him immediately for questioning because he has become a person of interest,” he said.
