“I woke up this morning with my phones inundated with calls about the news of my death. It has been rumoured that I slept and I did not wake up. I want to correct that erroneous impression that I am no more. I am still very much around,” Dalung said.
The 58-year-old House of Representatives hopeful added: “I thank God that I am alive. It is not because I deserve to live, but it is His grace. Therefore, the general public, my fans, friends, associates, should kindly disregard the rumour and give thanks to God.
“I lost my son and he has been buried. That is the unfortunate news for the family for now. But the rumour that I died this morning, or I did not wake up this morning, which has created panic and national concern, is not correct.”
