Afrobeat sensation Rema, real name Divine Ikubor, has said he is bringing the prestigious Grammy Awards home to Nigeria in 2024.
He made the declaration during a surprise visit to billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu, where the singer was warmly welcomed by Elumelu and his family.
Elumelu, in a video shared online, expressed excitement at Rema’s surprise visit.
The video also captured when Rema presented an exclusive album copy and his merchandise (Air Rema) as gifts.
Rema also thanked Elumelu for his support in the music industry. He said: “Thank you for what you have done and the support you have for the music industry. I am grateful, it means a lot to me. This year I am bringing the Grammy.”
