Gov. Ihedioha ‘Weeps’ over Loss to Hope Uzodinma in Supreme Court [PHOTO]

Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha reportedly wept in his office over his loss to Senator Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Ihedioha was sacked by the country’s Apex Court on Tuesday evening in a judgement delivered by a 7-man panel led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad. The All Progressives Congress, APC has since congratulated Uzodinma on his victory.

The Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege praised Uzodinma, describing the development as a victory for democracy. “Your victory and that of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) is a clear indication that no matter how long it takes, light will always prevail over darkness.

“By reclaiming Imo State, I am optimistic that our party, the APC, will clinch more states not only in the South-East geopolitical zone but also in the South-South in the 2023 governorship elections”.

Ex-Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has also congratulated Uzodinma, pledging to work with him and his government.

  1. It’s very bad that in Nigeria another party canever win case in our various court, why only one party always declare the winner when to court? (@APC).
    God will help us, I celebrate Nigeria politics.

  2. if PDP is robbed of his mandate in Imo state that means judiciary has been used by the federal government as a tool to get everything they want. God will rejudge every judgement which lack merit on the day of judgement.
