A presidential aspirant in the 2023 general elections, Omoyele Sowore, on Tuesday accused authorities in Nigeria of planning to eliminate him.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Sowore, a member of the African Action Congress (AAC), was recently arrested by the police in Abuja, and taken to the former Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), infamously called “Abattoir”.
His arrest followed a petition by billionaire Ned Nwoko, through his lawyers, Trifold Law and Partners, against Sowore-owned Sahara Reporters Foundation.
Lawyer Abubakar Marshall had stood as surety for Sowore after he was granted an administrative bail with a promise to produce him on February 25. The lawyer would be later arrested and detained.
Sowore on Tuesday morning was at the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Bureau (CIID) office of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command over the detention of Marshall.
Narrating what happened at the police detention facility today (Tuesday), Sowore said via his verified Facebook page: “When we arrived the “Abbattoir”, we met with a senior Police officer with Pelumi Olajengbesi. The whole conversation was about how dangerous the system is. And the conversation was how they plan to just take my life! But what is life without purpose?”

Sowere, once again in his usual thoughtless warped mentality just OFFERED his life to be sacrificed and may be unaware of both the import and implications of this RECKLESS senseless spout.
