The Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have raised severe allegations against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman, Prof Mahmoud Yakubu.
Obi and the LP raised the allegation before the Presidential Election Petitions Court.
He claimed that Prof Mahmoud Yakubu has been avoiding the service of a subpoena on him.
This was disclosed by the lead counsel to LP and Obi, Livy Uzoukwu (SAN).
He complained that Yakubu has refused to receive the letter subpoena despite efforts to that serve him.
But INEC counsel Kemi Pinheiro (SAN) objected to the submission, arguing that the chairman has not refused any subpoena service, having already received the same from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On his part, the presiding justice of the court, Justice Haruna Tsammani, cautioned the lawyers not to bicker over the matter.
THIS Peter Obi IS A CRY BABY. WAILING EVERYDAY.
He appears both IDLE and JOBLESS, seen at the tribunal everyday. You want to wonder why he employed the services of lawyers when he should have handled the case himself.
JUST FOOLING AROUND DOES NOT WIN THE CASE FOR HIM.
Peter Obi is at liberty to continue to waste and while away his time at the tribunal.
