The presentation of Certificates of Return to Senators-Elect at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, is ongoing.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the elected legislators include 98 out of 109 Senate seats.
The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu supervised the presentation at the National Collation Centre.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Katsina Central, Colonel Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’Adua; former Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio; Simon Mwadkwon, the senator-elect of Plateau North Senatorial District; Sadiq Ohere Abubakar, Senator-Elect, Kogi Central Senatorial, Kogi State; Ahmad Lawan, the incumbent Senate President; were among those who received their Certificate of Return.
This newspaper reports that the House of Representatives-elect are expected to receive theirs on Wednesday at the same venue.
