Ahead of the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship campaign rally coming up on Saturday, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met with the party’s candidate in Edo State at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the Caretaker Committee of the ruling party and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Malla Buni, escorted Ize-Iyamu to meet the President.
Others in the meeting are the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Governor of Kebbi State Atiku Bagudu and the APC campaign council chairman for Edo election, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state
This news platform learned that Ize-Iyamu is meeting the President for his endorsement and support for the forthcoming elections. It was further gathered that the party wants President Buhari to be part of the campaign to give more acceptability to it.
