Insecurity: Northwest Gov Provides Latest Update On Notorious Areas In His State

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani has revealed that relative peace is being enjoyed in some areas hitherto notorious for insecurity in the state.

These areas included Birnin Gwari, Kajuru, Kachia and Kaduna-Abuja highway, among others.

Sani represented by his Special Adviser on Rural Development, Shehu Aminu, stated this on Thursday in Kaduna at a town hall meeting geared towards raising awareness and promoting discussions on President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope 11- point Agenda in the state.

According to him, the state, with the support of the country’s armed forces, had succeeded in reducing the spate of banditry, kidnapping, and other forms of terrorism.

“Though there may be isolated cases of criminality in some local communities, the state government will continue to collaborate with the armed forces to eliminate the remnants of banditry and terrorism,” he said.

The governor said that the state had since aligned her programs and projects with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the president.
