Uche Mefor, estranged Deputy-Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday said that he has already withdrawn his blessings in relation to the outlawed group, hence it is “cursed”.
Mefor is the Head of Information and Communication of the new Customary Government of Biafra. He fell out with Kanu last year after disagreeing with him on the modus operandi of controversial IPOB.
He teamed up with Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, a former Niger Delta militant leader, to pursue the Biafra agenda. Both men have since been rugby-tackling now-incarcerated Kanu.
The teeming IPOB supporters have always sided with Kanu though.
“AS A PILLAR AND FOUNDING MEMBER WHO HELPED MADE IT THE PHENOMENON IT WAS, MY BLESSINGS ARE ALREADY WITHDRAWN AND IPOB AS AN ORGANISATION AND MOVEMENT ALREADY CURSED THAT YOU MAY KNOW THAT TREACHERY AND DESECRATION OF THE LAND DO NOT PAY AND THAT THERE IS A SUPREME BEING IN CHARGE OF THE AFFAIRS OF MEN AND IN CONTROL OF THE UNIVERSE . FORGET ALL THE SHENANIGANS, IN FULLNESS OF TIME, YOU SHALL REALISE THE IMPORT OF THIS ASSERTION,” Mefor wrote on his known Facebook page.
