Adamu Garba, the Deputy Director, New Media, Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima presidential campaign council, has said the ‘only worry” for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 election, is the southeast’s region where Biafra insurgency has taken an agonising turn.
Garba, who said that during a recent interview on TVC, monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA, stated that the APC’s victory in next month’s poll, is “very assured”.
“Our win is very assured; it is very clear. What we are only worried about is the southeast where we have the violence with the emergence of IPOB and ESN trying to disrupt the political process in that area.”
Speaking further the tech expert declared that “there is even no contest between us and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at all.”
He cited the PDP’s “internal squabbles” as one of the factors that has given the ruling APC an edge in the coming 2023 presidential election.
