‘It’s morally unthinkable’, Senator reacts to Natasha’s kiss with husband at NASS

The ongoing sexual harassment debacle between the Kogi Central lawmaker, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has been described as a skit created by the former for her ‘content creation career’.

This description of the ongoing crisis in the Upper Chamber was given by the lawmaker representing Ekiti South and serving chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Yemi Adaramodu on a Channels Television programme.

Recall that Akpoti-Uduaghan had accused the Senate President of sexual harassment and intimidation which has also undermined her ability to duly represent her constituents at the Senate.

However, a few days after her allegations, Akpoti-Uduaghan resumed duty at the National Assembly sitting accompanied by husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan whom she shared a kiss with at the entrance of the plenary.

Reacting to the kiss shared by the Kogi lawmaker and her husband, Adaramodu described the couple’s actions is mere theatrics.

While stating the couple’s action was not illegal, Adaramodu, however described the kiss shared by the Uduaghan’s as morally unthinkable and unspeakable.

He said, “I saw my colleague sister entering with a kiss. It made me look back when we were acting in such a kind of entertainment stage drama, while in primary school. This is where we are very unthinkable and unspeakable.

“They came very close to the plenary for a kiss? For whatever reason like our colleague accused. When we say anything is wrong or not wrong, we talk about legality.

“It is not illegal, but it is socially and morally wrong. That does not mean all legal things are acceptable for adults to act on. I said initially that this is an episode of content creation. That is part of the skit created by our colleague and everybody is talking about it,” he added.
