New Nigeria Police Force’s Acting Inspector General, Kayode Egbetokun, has resumed at the Force’s Headquarters in Abuja.
In a video that emerged online, the new Acting IGP was seen reporting for duties at his new office in the Nigerian capital.
As he made his way to his office, some policemen were seen celebrating, jubilating and congratulating him as they exchanged pleasantries.
Egbetokun, from Ogun state, is a former Aide-De-Camp to President Bola Tinubu when the Nigerian leader was the governor of Lagos state.
He was named as the replacement for the immediate past police boss, Usman Alkali, on Monday, June 19.
