JUST IN: 16 slain hunters buried in Edo community

Sixteen Northern hunters lynched in Uromi, Edo State were on Saturday, March 29, laid to rest in a community in the state.

It was gathered that the slain hunters were all buried Udune Efandion community in Uromi.

According to Zagazola Makama, a conflict analyst, family members of the late hunters stood as they were buried in the community.

Recall that Politics Nigeria had reported that the hunters were killed after some vigilante operatives intercepted while travelling from Port Harcourt to Kano for

the Eid celebration.

The hunters were said to have been killed over suspicion of being kidnappers.

  1. This senseless act can only be stopped if the pepertuitor are brought to book. It is okay to have vigilant in communities but they must act with the confines of the law. This is pure barbarism and it has to stop.

  2. Our Farmers are killed in masses daily by Fulani men here in our own land,and our brothers and sisters are been killed in north like fouls but still no one is saying anything but now just small number of aboki wey die,everywhere na noise.

  3. I think is time Nigeria govts disband all militia except federal government force if not time bomb is coming everybody is carrying guns every were this not good at all

I don’t blame those vigilantes they’re doing their job let’s think of it truly if this this people that was killed is not up to something how can 16 people be travelling with guns and you are saying that it is den gun which one can not kill person in my own opinion and base on the situation in Nigeria now and base on what people from the northern part of Nigeria is doing in other region those Edo people are justify.
