JUST IN: 2025 UTME rescheduling for candidates begins – JAMB

The rescheduling of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced today, Thursday, May 15.

This rescheduling process will be carried out for the 379,997 candidates affected by the technical glitch experienced by the examination body.

Recall that JAMB had on Wednesday announced that the results of the 2025 UTME concluded last weekend were riddled with errors.

JAMB’s registrar, Ishaq Oloyede during a press briefing in Abuja admitted the error and said he was taking full responsibility for the damage caused to Nigeria and the candidates.

He also announced that candidates affected by the glitch would be rescheduled to rewrite their examinations which would take place between Friday and Saturday.

According to the registrar, the rescheduling of the candidates would begin on Thursday morning throughout the five states in the Southeast and Lagos State.

He assured Nigerians that those affected would start receiving text messages regarding their exam schedules on Thursday.
