JUST IN: Abia PDP Chieftain, Ogbonna Resigns From Party

Former Abia State Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Saint Moses Ogbonna, has resigned from the party.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that in a letter directed to the PDP Chairman, Aku na Ekpu, Eziama na Obuba Ward, in Isiala Ngwa South local government area and the state, Ogbonna revealed his resignation from the PDP in Abia State.

Furthermore, he declared his complete withdrawal from partisan politics within the state.

Ogbonna, a prominent figure within the Abia party, did not explicitly elaborate on the motivations behind his decision to part ways with the former ruling party in the state. However, he took the opportunity to express his gratitude and apologise to anyone who may have been affected during his political journey.

In his own words, Ogbonna stated, “I wish to utilise this platform to officially and formally tender my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party. Simultaneously, I would like to inform the general public that I am disengaging from all partisan political activities. I extend my sincere apologies to anyone whom I may have unintentionally harmed during our navigation through the political landscape.”

Ogbonna concluded his message by expressing his intentions for the future, stating his desire to focus on his legal practice as an activist and to serve the people of Abia and humanity at large, guided by faith.

He also expressed his appreciation for his colleagues within the PDP, acknowledging their support and affection throughout his tenure with the party.
