The Adamawa State House of Assembly has given its nod to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to appoint 50 special advisers.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the decision came following a formal request made by Governor Fintiri to the Assembly seeking their approval to appoint these advisers.
During Tuesday’s session, the Assembly members unanimously approved the governor’s request.
With this development, the governor’s cabinet, which previously consisted solely of a press secretary, is set to expand and gain diverse expertise.
