Activist and Convener of the Concerned Nigerians group, Deji Adeyanju has given some insight into possible reasons why Jide Sowore, a younger brother to Ex-AAC Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore.
Adeyanju, in a statement via his Twitter Page, queried the reason why the suspected killer herdsmen targeted Jide.
He wondered if it could have been a ‘message’ from individuals who were not too pleased with the Sahara Reporters publisher.
He wrote; “What if they are trying to send a message to Sowore?”
“Because the brother shouldn’t be an interest to a kidnapper. Why kidnap someone who has nothing to give?”
“The people we are dealing with are very evil.”
The Edo state police command has since confirmed Jide’s death adding that the attackers also abducted 5 people.
