The Nigerian airline operator Air Peace is set to expand its international routes with the launch of its Abuja-London route, as confirmed by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Thursday.
During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, Keyamo revealed that he had given approval for Air Peace to extend its London route to include Abuja.
Air Peace recently commenced its Lagos-Gatwick flights, gathering commendation from many Nigerians.
Recall that the introduction of the Lagos-London route by Air Peace prompted other airlines to adjust their prices, leading to allegations from Air Peace owner, Allen Onyema, of an international conspiracy against his airline.
The addition of the Abuja-London route is expected to further enhance Air Peace’s position in the Nigerian aviation industry and provide travellers with more options for international travel.
