Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has informed his supporters that the Appeal Court verdict that nullified his election as governor is temporary.
In a first public comment after the verdict, the governor expressed confidence in the judiciary to restore his mandate.
Mutfwang described the ruling as a temporary setback, assuring his supporters that he remains committed to serving the people of Plateau State.
The governor urged his supporters to remain calm and patient, emphasising the need to maintain law and order.
The governor, who descended from an aircraft at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, went to the government house, where his supporters had gathered to welcome him and his entourage back to the state.
