Suspected bandits responsible for the attacks and killings in Southern Kaduna have been arrested by the Nigerian Army and other security agents.
Speaking to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday, Colonel David Nwakonobi, Sector Commander of Operation Safe Haven in Kafanchan, said the suspects were arrested during an operation carried out by troops of the Nigerian Army.
Nwakonobi noted men of the Nigerian Army apprehended eight suspects in different parts of the region during an operation held last week, adding that they will be handed over to the Nigerian Police for prosecution.
He explained that dangerous weapons were found in their possession such as locally fabricated pump action guns, locally made pistols, 9 mm ammunition, machetes, and motorcycles.
Nwakonobi noted that troops also discovered the corpse of one of the bandits involved in the last attack in one of the communities in Kibori village.
Several attacks in various villages across the region have led to many deaths with many others being displaced after fires ignited by the raiders, engulf houses and destroy property.
And the government are there saying its not bandits , that are just mear criminals.

It is hard to believe that the Kaduna massacre done by this people. Because you told us it was repressal attacks by the Fulanis herdsmen . How does it turn to locally made pump action users..
