The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, alongside Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and his counterparts from Taraba and Adamawa states, Darius Ishaku and Ahmadu Fintiri, respectively, have arrived at the welcome and reception ceremony for new and returning governors elected on the PDP platform.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the event, which is being held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, is expected to bring together party leaders from various organs of the PDP.
Former Vice President, Namadi Sambo, former Kaduna State Governor, Ahmed Makarfi, and Acting Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Senator Adolphus Wabara, are among those already seated, this newspaper learnt.
The guest speaker for the occasion, Mudal Yusuf, will speak on the theme, “Good governance at the sub-national level: Issues, perspectives, expectations, and outcomes.”
