
Former vice president Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday, met with Yemi Osinbajo, Yakubu Gowon and other dignitaries in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
Atiku met with these two dignitaries at the launch of a book authored by Garba Shehu, a former media aide to ex-president Muhammadu Buhari.
The book titled, “According to the President: Lessons from a Presidential Spokesman’s Experience.” was formally launched at the Shehu Musa ‘Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
In a post made on X, Atiku said Shehu’s new book is a must-read for him.
He wrote, “A day well spent at the public unveiling of Mallam @GarShehu’s oven-fresh book, “According to the President: Lessons from a Presidential Spokesman’s Experience.”
“My list of must-read books is growing by the day,” Atiku said.
Reacting hours after the launch of the book, Shehu said the event brought together an impressive lineup of dignitaries.
The former presidential spokesperson wrote on X, “Images from the launch of the book capture what was truly a remarkable gathering of national leaders from across the political, media, and diplomatic landscape.
“The event brought together an impressive lineup of dignitaries — from former Heads of State and Vice Presidents to Ministers and leading media figures.
“I take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for the support you’ve extended to me over the years,” he added.
