Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to Bauchi State, to mourn the passing of the revered Emir of Ningi, Dr. Yunusa Danyaya.
The Emir died last Saturday after a prolonged illness.
Upon arrival, he was warmly received by Bauchi State’s Deputy Governor, HE Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau (Madugun Katagum), Senator Abdul Ningi (representing Bauchi Central), and other dignitaries.
In a statement released by Atiku’s special advisor on Media, AbdulRasheed Shehu, the former Vice President described the late Emir as a “man of peace.”
He expressed his deep sadness at the loss, offering heartfelt prayers that Almighty Allah grants the Emir Aljanna Firdausi and consoles the emirate during this challenging period.
