The camp of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, has reacted to Monday’s press conference by the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.
Daniel Bwala, Atiku’s spokesperson in the 2023 election, took to social media to share his thoughts on Obi’s remarks, saying that he and his running mate, Datti Baba Ahmed, as well as their supporters, are a “hard nut for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to crack.”
Bwala noted that while Ahmed has accepted the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding Tinubu’s victory, he believes that Obi and his team remain unconvinced. He added that the Labour Party and its supporters will pose a significant challenge to Tinubu’s presidency, and how he manages this situation will be a case study for university students.
He said, “But @PeterObi and @Naija_Activist Obi/Datti’s position today convinced me that @officialABAT Tinubu has more problems to manage with Labour Party and Obidients than the entire economy and insecurity in Nigeria. How he will navigate this is a course to be taught in OAU, ABU and Nsukka universities.”
