Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday night met with several founding members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He hosted them to a dinner. In attendance were the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Chief Bisi Akande; Dr Ogbonaya Onu, Nasir El-rufai, Rochas Okorocha and Ibrahim Shekarau.
Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari was also present at the meeting. The President has been consulting with critical stakeholders of the party ahead of its convention on Saturday.
The party was engulfed in a serious crisis not too long ago but recent developments have indicated that reconciliatory moves have been yielding results.
