President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday swore in the new Minister of State for Works and Housing, Alhaji Mu’azu Jaji Sambo at the Council Chambers, the State House, Abuja.
Alhaji Sambo is from Taraba State.
On Tuesday, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Sambo as minister-designate after he was screened.
Sambo is to replace the former Minister of Power, Sale Mamman, who was sacked in September, along with Sabo Nanono, the former agriculture minister.

Meanwhile, President Buhari, today, presided over an emergency Security Council Meeting — the last of the year 2021.
The meeting which took place at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja was attended by Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (rtd); Service Chiefs; IG of Police, Alkali Baba Usman; and other heads of security agencies.
