Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, has said that the federal government cannot meet every need of the people.
Mrs Tinubu said this while hosting the National Executive of the National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) in her office on Wednesday.
She emphasized the need for collective action, saying, “We can’t rely solely on the government. We should support those around us.”
She also urged women to guide youths towards positive values and morals.
The First Lady emphasized the importance of women finding ways to protect youths from the negative influences of social media.
Meanwhile, former First Lady Patience Jonathan also visited Mrs Tinubu and promised her support to achieve the goals of assisting the needy in the society.
She said it was imperative for her as a former first lady to also support and encourage Mrs Tinubu on things that would move the nation forward.
