Former U.S. President Donald Trump has made his first public appearance in New Jersey following a failed assassination attempt.
Trump briefly waved to cameras as his security team escorted him off a Boeing 757 private jet. The incident marks his return to the public eye after the recent security threat.
Further details on his itinerary or statements from Trump were not immediately available.
Meanwhile, the county prosecutor for Butler, Pennsylvania, has confirmed that two persons were killed in a shooting incident that occurred at a rally held by Trump.
Reports indicate that one of those killed is the individual who fired shots at Trump.
The incident occurred after Trump began speaking at the Butler Farm Show grounds. Gunfire rang out, and the former President was rushed off stage by Secret Service agents.
Up to five shots were heard from the video of the incident, and Trump was seen being led away with apparent blood on his head.
