Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has reacted to the death of Akwa Ibom First Lady, Patience Umo Eno.
Her death was announced by the Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a statement titled “Unexpected Sunset” in the early hours of Friday.
Ememobong said the first lady passed away at a hospital on Thursday in the presence of family members after a brief illness.
In a post on his X handle on Friday, Sani said he received the news with sadness.
He described her death as a great loss, adding that God is the ultimate retriever and receiver of every soul.
The former federal lawmaker condoled
the Governor, the Government, and the people of Akwa Ibom State.
He prayed that the soul of the deceased rest in peace.
