A flash flood swept through the Asokoro–Guzape axis of Abuja on Thursday morning following a heavy downpour.
A video shared on Facebook by Prince Adebisi Adetunji shows torrents of water covering parts of the road, leaving motorists and residents struggling to navigate the area.
The sudden flooding caused significant disruption to movement, with vehicles seen wading through deep waters. Residents in the area expressed concern over the poor drainage system, which they said often worsens flooding during the rainy season.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
