JUST IN: Foreign Presidents Jostling to Meet Tinubu in France – Presidency

The Presidency has revealled that quite a number of western presidents have indicated their interest in meeting with Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in France.

President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake, made this known in Paris the French capital.

Addressing journalists, Alake said the western leaders planned to meet with Tinubu due to the “giant steps” he has taken within his first three weeks of assuming office as Nigeria’s President.

“Mr President’s policies in the last three weeks have encouraged more foreign investors to be interested in the affairs of Nigeria in shoring up our economy.

“So many of them have indicated interest in meeting with Mr President on this trip, just upstairs now, he had a meeting on how to structure this meeting with heads of state.

“About four different Heads of State of Western nations have indicated interest in meeting with Tinubu, having a chat, and exploring possible areas of cooperation on the economy, Agriculture and other salient areas.”

Politics Nigeria understands that Tinubu is in Paris to attend the Global Financing Pact Summit convened by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
