The Nigerian Police Force Headquarters, on Saturday, announced a former Public Relations Officer for Lagos State Command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi as the new spokesman for the force headquarters, Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Adejobi, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), is taking over from Frank Mba.
Adejobi’s new appointment was contained in a statement signed by Benjamin Hundeyin, an Admin Officer at the Force Public Relations department, obtained by POLITICS NIGERIA.
The new Force Headquarters spokesman attended the University of Ibadan (UI) where he studied Archeology and Geography (Combined Honours).
He also holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same University. Adejobi was the PPRO in the Ogun State Command between 2008 and 2016.
He was also the PPRO Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, in 2016 and PPRO Lagos State Police Command between September 2020 and August 2021.
Adejobi’s predecessor, Mba will attend a Senior Executive Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos, after being nominated by the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
