Information reaching POLITICS NIGERIA says a former governor of Sokoto State, Garba Nadama, is dead.
It was gathered that the 82-year-old elder statesman died on Monday night after a protracted sickness. Nadama’s death is coming after the death of another governor, Shehu Kangiwa.
Confirmed the passing of Nadama, a family source said the politician died in Sokoto and his burial arrangement will be announced in due course.
The late Nadama was the deputy governor of Sokoto State in 1979 and was elected governor in November 1981.
