Ibrahim Gambari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday flagged off the construction of the State House Clinic Presidential Wing.
POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that President Buhari had approved the construction and equipping of a 14-bed space Presidential Clinic at a cost of N21 billion.
It is understood that Julius Berger Nigeria will handle the construction. The physical construction would start on November 1, 2021 and would be inaugurated on December 31, 2022.
The Presidential Clinic would contain 14-bed facilities with a total area of 2,700 square metres.
The foundation laying ceremony was attended by Gambari, Permanent Secretary of the State House Umar Tijjani, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina; a delegation from the Julius Berger Nigeria, State House medical practitioners, amongst others.
